So for anyone who doesn't know me... here are 10 facts.
1) If anyone ever asked me who my best friend was, I would not be able to answer them. Its a long story, wanna know more about it? Ask me about it.
2) If you ever see me sitting alone at a computer with earbuds in my head, I will either be catching up on my favorite t.v. show, jamming out to music, or editing something I've recorded myself.
3) The things of importance in my life goes from 1. God 2. Family 3. Music 4. Getting good grades and 5. trying my best not to let anyone down.
4) I have been diagnosed with depression, ADHD and dyslexia. Talk to me about it
5) If my homework didn't get done it is most likely because I just found a new book that I love and I couldn't get my nose out of it long enough to do my homework.
6) Sex Drugs Smoking and Alcohol are not on my agenda. Ever.
(Do I judge you if you do them? Nope. I have friends who do some of these things at school. Does this mean I agree with what they are doing? Not really, but it's also not my life to live, its theirs) Wanna talk to me about it? Yell at me, ask me if its difficult to live it or not? Email me.
7) I have a ton of pets, and I love them all a TON. In fact at my house you can normally see me either playing with my dog or walking around with one of my...smaller animals.
8) I will laugh at almost anything that is remotely funny. Especially if its a pun. I love puns.
9) Most people see me as a generally happy person, and I honestly try to have a smile on my face at all times.
10) My favorite sport ever is swimming because I LOVE water.
So there's a little something about me. Any more questions about me? Ask away.
This is a blog of the thousands of things running around in my head every day. What I am aiming for with this blog is to get people to think, and maybe start some discussions. If you have any questions for me, something that you would like me to write about or just something you didn't understand, I would love to hear from you at neverendingdream1233@gmail.com

Siblings.
So. I turned sixteen the other day. People haven't been asking me what it's like to be sixteen, but they have been asking me what my sweet sixteen was like. It kinda stunk. Well. that's a lie. It was good, because my brother was home, and I got to spend some time with my whole family. And I got a lot of nice stuff, and... My family said happy birthday, and the second half of the day I spent with my dad, and he took me to a hockey game, and then out to dinner, and I had an amazing time! But...
Okay so I know that I complain about everything... And a lot of you guys most likely hate me for it, but I feel like sometimes, people should try to put aside their problems to try to make someone's day better. Now, let me tell you, I love my siblings, a ton. I would literally die for them, but...sometimes they make me really upset.
On the day of my sixteenth birthday, my siblings were fighting. With each other (not much) with their significant others, and although not much, with me too. Probably not needless to say, by the middle of the day I was pretty upset, and no one really seemed to be having a good time. When we got to lunch, it was a lot better, but still, there was quite a lot of tension that was going around the table we were all sitting at.
My day got better when I went off to a hockey game and it was just me and my dad, because unlike my sibs, he got a good nights rest and once there were two people, there were many less arguments that could be thrown around. What does that say? Does that say that the source of Jenny's pain is her siblings?
Nope. And seriously, if you think that.... you're an older sibling. Or... something else. I don't know. What it does say, is me and my dad tend to get along better than me and siblings, at least when we are at a hockey game. I'm pretty sure that we get along better in general, because he's my dad, and not my sibling.
Now. After this story, what does this say about me? It seems to say that my siblings and I always fight, and we don't get along very well, and i would rather be with my father than with my siblings.
This, is not how I view my relationship with my siblings at all. I'm the baby, and I've always thought that my siblings get along with each other better than how they got along with me. They have assured me that this is not true, but being the baby and in my stubbornness, I don't believe them. But I do love them. A ton.
One of my siblings is in college now, and is actually graduating sometime in the nearish future and one time a few years ago I was really sick with a terrible stomach bug. What did my sibling do? He made me soup, tea, and took care of me the entire time.
One of my other siblings was once crying, and she was talking to someone on her cell phone. What me and my other siblings do? Well, we pounced. I personally was ready to kill the person on the other side of the phone, for making my sister cry. As it turned out it was all a major misunderstanding and she was pretty much fine. My siblings and I protect each other.
So... In conclusion, I turned 16. Nothing feels different. My siblings and I fight a lot. I get along with my dad. I can't live without my siblings.

You know what really annoys me?
Okay, so you remember that time, when people actually talked to each other when they hung out? Back before the only things siblings did together was fight and watch t.v.? I know, its probably too long ago for you to remember. At least that's what it sometimes seems like with my siblings. I know that we actually talk sometimes, but its still really annoying. We watch T.V. together a lot, but when I actually try to talk to them, I get yelled at for interrupting the television. I mean, I'll play air hockey, and occasionally go on walks with my siblings... I even eat and go to the movies with my sister and her friends a lot, but... still. I miss back when I could just talk to some people without the television getting in the way.
DOES ANYONE ELSE FIND THIS A PROBLEM???
DOES ANYONE ELSE FIND THIS A PROBLEM???
Lemme tell you a funny story. With some advice. And a complaint.
Okay, this is as much as a story, as advice for all you guys out there who are friends with girls younger than you.
Okay, so, I have a ton of guy friends. In fact, most likely more guy friends than girl friends. I can not tell you how many times I have been asked if I was dating one of them, or worse, told that me and my best guy friend would make the cutest couple. Can I just say how annoying that is? Not only for me, but for my guy friends too. No one wants to hear that they would make a cute couple if they aren't dating. Even if one of the two friends are okay, or love the comment, in the end its just awkward, and pretty much ruins the chances of the two ever being a couple. So don't go up to people and tell them that. Just don't. Period. They just might hate you forever. Probably not. But maybe.
Okay, so once, a LONG time ago, I was sitting with two of my closest guy friends, and we were talking about a movie that was coming out. I don't remember what movie it was, but I do remember that I was the one who first brought it up, saying how much I wanted to see it. Then my guy friends agreed, said that it looked like it should be a pretty epic movie and that they also wanted to go see it too. Then one of my friends turned to the other friend, and asked him to go see the movie with him. With me sitting there. And you know who wasn't asked to go to that movie?
Me
...
Okay I know I'm a girl, but... why??? If you're talking to two friends about a movie you all want to go see... and then two of the friends ask each other to go see the movie... but not the third person... that's just...I'm pretty sure that's the definition of evil.
So guys, even if you're with a friend that is a girl, and your other guy friend, and it might seem a little weird ask your guy friend and your girl-friend (not girlfriend, girl-friend) to go to the movies, just do it. Cuz if you don't, you just look like a jerk. Even if it would be weird for you, because I guarantee you that that movie would be less awkward than it is at that table is after you only ask one of your friends to the movies.

Any questions??
Hey, so I thought it might be interesting to have people ask me questions, about my religion, about my views on the world, about my favorite colors.... my thoughts on things.... and I could answer them in posts. (Without giving names of course), but since no one comments... this also might be a big flop, but hey. it's worth a shot.

Why I hate teachers telling me to read
Okay, so, pretty much everyone who goes to an american high school, has to take English. And in English class, we have to read books. Wow. surprise surprise. I personally love reading. I read books all the time. ALL THE TIME. I read the hunger games in a day. and half of the next book in the next day.
So when it comes to this, I bet you're asking, what are you complaining about?? You love reading, so.. uh what's the problem?
My problem isn't that my teachers make me read, its what they make me read. Or in some cases, what they don't let me read.
So for this quarter, I had to read a classic. I didn't have too much of a problem with this, I was just going to read a book that my sister bought me for Christmas, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. I love Huck Finn, but I've never read the book. Seen the play, but not read the book. So I was just going to read Huck Finn.
BUT NO
My teacher told me that I couldn't read Huckleberry Finn. Why? Because we MIGHT read it next year.
Great. okay.. Thanks. I can't read this book because maybe we might read it next year. Does that even make sense??
Even if we do read it next year, what's so bad about reading it twice? Really??
Arg.

Why dreaming about people is *not* weird.
Okay guys, I'm gonna tell you something about myself.
I have incredibly vivid dreams, I mean, INCREDIBLY vivid, as in, sometimes I can't tell the difference between reality and my dreams. Once in my dream my friend broke up with her boyfriend, and I went the next two weeks thinking that my friend was taking the breakup great...Then she asked me if I wanted to go on a double date with her bf and her... yeah that was an awkward moment of my life, and not because I don't have a boyfriend.
Alright well that was off track, but anyways, in my dreams I tend to see people, well in fact everyone does, and when I tell people that I dream about them they get freaked out. Or rather, they're just in my dream, the dream doesn't have to be *about* them. It's really annoying because they think that I'm ... stalking them or something?
Now how does that work? Because my sub-conscious is what controls my dreams just so you know. It's not like I necessarily want to dream about you. I just do.
In fact, you know something about dreams? Everyone you dream about you have seen at some point in your life, your mind literally can't make new people, every face in your mind, you have seen, whether if it was because you passed them on the street sometime 10 years ago, or its some guy on your swim team that you see everyday.
So dreaming about people you know really is not creepy, its actually normal, and I think is a lot less creepy then dreaming about people you pass on the street sometime.

Dictionaries and their wrong information.
Okay. I'm a total nerd. I love dictionaries. No I don't just go randomly go read the dictionary to pass time, because I think that that is the most fun thing in the world, no I'm not that dorky (though if I had a star wars or Harry Potter dictionary, I would read that for fun), but I do love dictionaries. They contain so much information, its just great!
Okay that last line was a total lie. Yes they contain so much information, but I have found wrong information, or stupid information that really doesn't help at all, in too many dictionaries to actually respect them. (Does that mean I'm prejudged against dictionaries? yes, yes it does.)
One of the first things I found in a dictionary that brought me to this decision was when I looked up the word (words?) Guinea Pig. I did this in like 3rd grade so I don't remember the exact definition, but I do remember it saying it saying that Guinea Pigs had tails. Now I currently own 3 Guinea pigs, and in my whole life I have had 30-40 guinea pigs, and I can ASSURE you that they do NOT have tails. In fact one of the most unique things about them is that they DON'T have tails!
Strike one for the Dictionary.
The other thing I hate about dictionaries are the stupid definitions of words. Now I'm not talking about the WRONG definitions, I'm talking about those definitions of words that have one word as the definition, and that word is rooted in the original word. For instance:
Bad (adverb): Badly.
Oh gosh thank you SO much for clearing that up for me.
Strike two for the Dictionary.
And we can never forget those definitions that don't REALLY tell the definitions. Or sort of. Okay so my rant on this comes for this comes from looking up the word Christian. One of the definitions I found is "a person who believes in Jesus Christ;"

I just want to say... this really is not correct! Well okay. In some ways this is correct.. I mean us Christians do believe in Jesus Christ. But um.. Jew's also believe in Jesus Christ, they just don't believe he's our Lord. In fact.. even some atheists believe in Jesus Christ... Again they just don't believe he's our Lord.
So really? Now Christians are ANYONE who believes in Jesus Christ?? hum... Re-think that.
Strike three for Dictionaries.

Within walking distance of BEING USEFUL.
Okay, so sorry for not posting for a while... School got outa hand.
Sooo, my pet peeve. When people say within walking distance, can someone *please* tell me what that means?? Cuz you know.. technically California is within walking distance of my house, and I live in New England . Because well really anything on the same land mass of New England is within walking distance of my house... So does walking distance mean.. next door, down the street, or on the other side of the country?
Some people might say, well its within comfortable walking distance. Well.. that kinda changes for everyone doesn't it? So now saying within walking distance is kinda inconsiderate, isn't it? Who came up with that saying??
So don't say it.

How things lose meaning.
I feel like there are so many things in this world that we just do, because we are told to do it, because it means something... but since we are just told to do it... it doesn't really mean anything anymore.
Did that make sense? Let me go to a specific example to help explain what I mean.
What really got me thinking about this was how every day at my school we say the Pledge of Allegiance. That starts in middle school in my town. Starting in Kindergarten-at least at my school- we say it every Monday. Lately I've been wondering about how many people actually mean what they say when they repeat it every day. And then... I wonder how many people actually stop to think about what they are saying, and actually understand what it means. Granted, most people actually don't say the pledge in my district when they reach the high school, but I feel like that's more out of laziness than not agreeing with it.
I am one of the many people who don't say the Pledge in the morning, and true, not so long ago it was out of laziness, but now I don't say it because I'm not so sure I'm willing to completely pledge myself to this country, at least not when I'm 15, I want to actually believe completely what I am saying before I actually say it.
Any other examples of this?

Gossiping. (Remember I'm a pessimist!)
Okay so in the past few weeks I have seen two fairly big movies that kind of focuses on "popular" people, and what really goes on in their "crowd". Pretty much the general gist of both of the movies are that the "popluars" are a bunch of people who are hungry for gossip and would back stab their friends if a) That friend would make them less popular or B) if back stabbing the friend would make them more popular.
So, yeah, this does happen sometimes, even often some might say, which some people would say is why they "don't want to be popular"; because they wouldn't be able to trust any of their "friends". But, does it just happen with the people deemed popular? How much of life isn't just an act? I know people who gossip about some of their friends to their other friends, but who's to say that's only one sided. If someone gossips about a friend to you, how do you really know that that person won't just gossip about you to another one of their friends?
There is a never ending circle in highschool, middleschool, and unfortunately just throughout life that seems to just be filled with a bunch of backstabbing.
(here's where I start to ramble)
Normally I would just say that if you don't gossip, you can stay out of it... but then you might just be deemed a Goodie-goodie. I guess this is just one area in life where we really have just... like us for us and not care what other people think, and find the few people in life who don't gossip to you and you can actually trust.
What do you think?
There are only a few people in my life who I could personally trust, and it has taken a really long time to get them, but, they also mean the world to me, and give me that tiny flicker of hope that I still have in my heart.

You know when you're gonna go do something that really means a lot to you, but it really doesn't seem like its something pretty big to your family.. or your friends? You try to keep it cool, and don't make it seem like its big, but really on the inside your dying because you can't wait to do it, because you worked so hard on it? You know how normally your parents don't make it to things like that? Concerts, Games, or even a little performance that you are doing at some fair or something? Why does it hurts so much when your parents don't show up? I mean it shouldn't be anything new... but it normally still hurts. And even more importantly, if we are going to be hurt, why don't we just tell our parents? I mean theoretically our parents love us, so wouldn't they at least care? I mean I do this all the time, I just don't really know why I keep it to myself... its weird.

Styles
So I'm really confused. Why do styles leave and then come back?? Like the whole one-shoulder-thing. That was really "In" when my parents were kids, and then it left, and then it came back, and is starting to become big again... I mean it wasn't even that long ago that it was in style... and then it went out of style.. and now its back... isn't it just kinda a waste of time??
